The Chamber participates in several projects to enhance the local community, help local business prosper, and promote the local area and businesses.

Coming up next - Buckingham Chamber's First Car Show to be held at the Dillwyn Dairy Freeze on Sat, Aug 25 from 5 to 8pm. Limited to first 30 cars to register.
Sept 9 is Grandparent's Day. All Buckingham Grandparent's are eligible to be in the Best Grandparent's of Buckingham Contest. A one page essay written by any age grandchild (does not have to be a resident) may be mailed to P O Box 951, Dillwyn, VA 23936 or faxed to (434) 983-4891. Deadline is September 5. Essay should state why the grandchild thinks their grandparent should be chosen. No couple essays please. Each grandparent should be entered individually. The Winners will be announced at the Gospel Gala at Heritage Hall on Sunday, Sept 9th.
